LISA MALIGA
I’m an author of more than three dozen books ranging from dessert cookbooks to designing bath and body products and soap crafting to cozy mysteries. I’ve also taken all the photos of the goodies I bake or melt and pour. Spending almost as much time in the kitchen as in front of the computer, I make videos of the process of baking and soaping.
Back in high school, I was so camera shy I wasn’t photographed for my yearbook picture. Yes, I prefer being behind a camera. Even if I’ve been dusted with powdered sugar or barely gotten out of the way of overflowing soap molds.
I also love taking pictures of animals whether wild or domesticated.
One of my hobbies is urban exploration, a/k/a urbex. I was a young adult when my adventurous Mom and I visited a derelict amusement park and an abandoned shopping center. While not something I do all the time, occasionally I go inside an abandoned building and take a look inside.
